Missionaries to Nicaragua
After having pastored several years in North Florida and becoming empty nesters, the Bogards felt the call of God on their lives to the people of Nicaragua. They moved to Nicaragua in January 2016 with the goal of evangelizing, discipling, church planting, and training nationals for ministry. God has blessed their efforts by establishing four church plants and three Bible institutes in different parts of the country.
Due to civil unrest, they were forced to leave suddenly. Kirk has since made short-term trips to work with the pastors on special projects and hopes to continue training them via the internet.
